Yazmin Lacey drops silky smooth jam 'Late Night People'

With the release of her debut album Voice Notes fast approaching on the 3rd of March we have been blessed with a third single titled 'Late Night People'.

It features a bed of ethereal, atmospheric synth lines reminiscent of a wind chime. After this, each instrument arrives progressively. Starting with the drums tying the synths together into a groove, followed by a more stabby synth chord and finally the bassline. I want to call special attention to the mixing and mastering here. Every instrument is so vivid in the mix. An amazing level of clarity even when using a more ambient synth.

Obviously, the real highlight of this tune is Yazmin's voice. As per usual she's come through with a silky smooth delivery to chill you the fuck out. The male backing vocals also add a nice dynamic to the track.

To celebrate the release of Voice Notes Jazmin is playing a sold-out headline show at the St Pancras Old Church in London which is sure to be a sonic experience.

You can check the new tune out here.
