VLURE, Charlotte Plank & Gena Rose Bruce join The Great Escape 2023

The Great Escape Festival has today announced its third wave of artists, adding 140+ names to its upcoming edition in Brighton on 10th-13th May.

This announcement includes three artists who have previously featured on The GROAT Podcast in VLURE, Charlotte Plank and Gena Rose Bruce. If you've been a regular listener, you can be sure to expect VLURE to pack out the room with their brand of rave-punk that is becoming one of the most unmissable live sets in the UK at the moment. The Glasgow quintet will bring new single 'This Fantasy' among other fan favourites to the south coast.

Coming over from Australia for her first headline dates in the UK is Gena Rose Bruce, who just released her ace new record Deep Is The Way. She'll be stopping off in Brighton to bring her soulful, shimmering sound to UK shores for the first time.

After catching her set last Friday in Guildford, we know exactly what to expect from an intimate Charlotte Plank live show. Look out for her killer anthem 'L.S.D. (Love So Damaged)' to provide one of the biggest sing-alongs of the festival, alongside unreleased rave-ready tracks and her unique take on combining indie with traditional breaks from jungle, drum and bass and more.

Elsewhere on the line-up, Yonaka are one of the bigger additions, with the Brighton locals coming back with new music this year having already released 'PANIC.' Rose Gray, Britain's next pop star in waiting and Scottish alt-rockers Spyres are some other favourites scattered throughout the new names.

The Great Escape, as always, is set to be the only way to start festival season with a whole host of the finest British and international talent. Tickets are on sale here, and you can view the main line-up poster below. Visit The Great Escape website to view the full list of artists.
