Hertfordshire alt-rockers Trash Boat have released their first new music of the year, and it comes in the form of 'Delusions of Grandeur.'
The single is the first new music since 2021's Don't You Feel Amazing? and it takes Trash Boat in a direction we haven't seen before.
A metalcore-esque lead tone leads the way as Tobi Duncan's signature raspy vocals power through the verses. The chorus is classic Trash Boat, with a structure that utilises melody in an effortless, mature way before the song climaxes in what feels like a hardcore breakdown.
It's an exciting new step for the group, who are out on tour with I Prevail next month. You can watch the video for 'Delusions of Grandeur' below:
