Simple but catchy is the name of the game with the new Tilly Louise single, "Make Me A Robot". A hooky ascending guitar line starts out the track before the drums enter and bring with them an undeniable groove.
The song also utilises atmospheric risers and guitars to fill out the mix, creating a minimal but rich soundscape.
Speaking on the song Tilly says "This song has to be my favourite to date. It’s the most honest I’ve been in my writing. When it comes to love, I’ve always felt I am never enough, and to write that down and then sing it aloud at shows has been something I’ve had to grow into, but I have felt that it has really resonated with those that have heard it live in a set, so maybe I’m not alone in the club looking for validation."
Her debut EP Join The Club drops on June 16th.
