Spyres release atmospheric new tune 'Sleep Forever'

Scottish rocker Spyres have released their first new music of 2023, in the form of their new single 'Sleep Forever.' After their seminal debut EP Dear Diary arrived last year, the band have opened new doors with a more ambient, atmospheric sound with crackly drums and layered guitars on 'Sleep Forever.'

It's a bittersweet yet nostalgic anthem about growing up that takes elements of the signature Spyres sound and weaves them into a day-dreamy blend of noise, perfectly mirroring the closing line of the chorus. "Everything is better in my daydreams, I like it up here in the clouds."

Spyres are fronting an epic new wave of Scottish rock that blends indie, pop-punk and much more. They recently ticked off an enormous sold out show at Glasgow's St Luke's, and have supported names such as The Murder Capital and Nothing But Thieves.
