Nia Archives releases third EP ahead of UK live dates

The UK's hottest property in electronic music, Nia Archives, has dropped her highly anticipated third EP Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall.

The EP takes Nia's traditional, cutting edge blend of soulful vocals over heavy jungle beats with plenty of magic touches that showcase her talent as a vocalist, producer and all-round creative genius.

A particular highlight comes in the shape of a collaboration with Maverick Sabre on 'No Need 2 Be Sorry, Call Me?' which leads with his emotive vocals over a floating guitar line and a firm bass riff before Nia's classic vocals arrive in the chorus.

It's difficult to ignore 'Baianá' as the EP's shining star, however - a track that has been dominating rave and club nights since its release to critical acclaim in late 2022. Carrying a captivating sense of tension, it's a pure "club moment" as Nia puts it, the peak of this sound on an EP that has otherwise taken her on a more "song-based" direction with tracks like 'Conveniency' and 'So Tell Me...'
