Brooklyn's synth conoisseurs Nation of Language have shared details of their highly anticipated third album, titled Strange Disciple and set for release on 15th September 2023.
Taken as a lyric from the pulsating lead single 'Sole Obsession', the Strange Disciple record is a journey for both the familiar and unknown, born out of the trio's travels amidst world touring and exploration.
A second single 'Weak In Your Light' accompanies the news, with a minimalist bassline and and an intermittent synth riff taken straight out of an arcade machine that creeps into the middle of the track. The vocal energy is reminiscent of a Brooklyn take on Billy Nomates, sitting in the mix with an intriguing level of intensity.
Going all in at once, a UK tour is the final piece of this heavy news week for Nation of Language fans. Just a few weeks after the album drops, you can catch the band at the following dates:
