Militarie Gun formed in 2020 and ever since have been on a blisteringly fast rise in the hardcore scene. To be precise they are melodic-post-hardcore but it's 2023 so who gives a fuck about boxing them in given how diverse their short and sweet discography has been.
Channelling elements of Fugazi, Black Flag and Born Against, Militarie Gun's songs are informed by the greats of punk and hardcore with a modern flair. The new song "Do It Faster" is packed with buzzsaw guitars and anthemic vocals from lead singer Ian Shelton. It's a short tune but it's sweet and intimate. Alongside the release of the song, they announced their debut UK performance at the George Tavern in London alongside retro UK punks Middleman which will be a guaranteed sell-out.
