Introducing GROAT: a new music publication, podcast and brand searching for the greatest riff of all time. Founded by Luke Miller and Rishi Shah, we are using an audiovisual-first approach to champion riffs across all genres, not limited to but including rock, metal, punk, pop, hip-hop, soul, indie, electronic and jazz.
Our primary focus will be the weekly Spotify podcast, releasing on Thursdays, where we spotlight the best riffs of the week and have a lengthy guest artist interview slot. Keep an eye out for some special artists over the first few episodes!
It will utilise Spotify’s feature to embed songs during the run time of the podcast to create a hybrid podcast/playlist listening experience. We will be running album/EP reviews and live reports each week alongside plenty of music news and photography.
