Just when you think Rose Gray couldn't get any better, she drops 'Ecstasy', the final single off her new EP Higher Than The Sun.
Potentially, the catchiest pop track of the year so far 'Ecstasy' is call to "release with me." And when those godlike synths join the party in the pre-chorus, Rose hits the nail on the head: "It's hypnotizing."
'Ecstasy' carries a different energy to the rest of the EP, offering more of a direct dancefloor appeal with an upfront, immersive hook that leaves you with no option but to lose your mind.
The grooves of 'Prettier Than You' and 'Promise Me' comprise the rest of the EP, whose title is a line taken from 'Ecstasy.' Additionally, we have 'Sun Comes Up', a pulsating anthem that is a favourite here at GROAT HQ.
