Eloise is the queen of relaxation. With every song released, she never fails to help me unwind. I love her music after a stressful day at work or for the journey home from a busy night out.
'Drunk On A Flight' is no different with its classic take on neo-soul. The drums sync up beautifully with the keys to create stabs and switch up the pacing in order to accent the vocal beats of Eloise's breakup story which is delivered in a lovely peaceful tone.
I adore the jazzy piano that switches up the chord voicings and progression to keep the intrigue going given it's such a barebones track in terms of the number of instruments. I especially like when we get cascading keys going down the piano between sections.
