Download Festival adds 40+ new names

The UK's premiere rock and metal festival, Download, has just announced its second wave of artists for its record-breaking 2023, which will see it expand to four days for the first time in its history. Joining headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Metallica and Slipknot for the 20th anniversary edition will be a host of names ranging from Alter Bridge and Neck Deep all the way to Deaf Havana and Cleopatrick, in addition to the range of acts already announced.

Alter Bridge and Halestorm will appear on the Thursday, having recently toured the UK together. Boasting two of the most exciting vocalists of our time in Myles Kennedy and Lzzy Hale, expect soaring lead vocals and technical guitar solos to take over Donington.

Neck Deep are back with their first new music in 'Heartbreak of the Century', which premiered on Valentine's day - they'll take to the stage on the Friday. GROAT favourites Bob Vylan have been announced for the Saturday, with the rap-metal duo releasing one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2022 in The Price Of Life.

Sunday's closer has the most new additions, with viral German techno-metallers Electric Callboy a standout in between their two UK tour trips this May and October. Mongolian cult favourites The Hu will also play on the Slipknot undercard.
