DMA'S and The Hives added to star-studded Live At Leeds In The Park

Live At Leeds In The Park have today shared some colossal new editions to their line-up, with Australian indie trio DMA'S and Swedish rock 'n' roll legends The Hives among the standout names.

DMA'S, who will be playing Wembley Arena just a month beforehand, have cemented themselves as future headliners of these festivals - and a lengthy sunset performance will be sure to add even more fans to their devout following here in the UK. Expect the classics like 'Lay Down' and 'In The Air' as well as numbers from their forthcoming album How Many Dreams?

As for The Hives, it's a rare chance to catch the Swedish rockers outside of their (nearly) sold-out stadium tour with Arctic Monkeys. One of the greatest live bands on the planet, prepare for a level of intensity you've never seen before as the band bring out classic riffs like 'Hate To Say I Told You So'. Here's what 'Howling' Pelle Almqvist had to say:

“Some festival names just have a ring to them don’t they? Live At Leeds. It sounds like some upper echelon rock shit and if this year’s edition wasn’t before, now it is. The Hives are very proud and happy to join this upper echelon. They are coming for your money and dignity and in exchange they will deliver however long a show you will let them of life-affirming record-breaking rock 'n' roll music. If you have never seen them before. imagine a rock show but to the 3rd power. Too much of everything. If you have seen them before, you know you will have to again.”

Taking place on 27th May at Leeds' Temple Newsam Park, Live At Leeds In The Park has become the standout day of the summer in the indie and alternative calendar. Topped by the titanic Two Door Cinema Club, it's set to go one better than last year's inaugural edition.

Other names who have been added today include alt-rock scouse superstars Crawlers and GROAT favourite dance-pop icon Rose Gray.
