ALL POINTS EAST STARTS NEXT WEEK!

All Points East is back, a staple in London's jam packed summer festival calendar, gracing Victoria Park once more in just a week!

This year sees some of the best lineups in recent memory with Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, Mitski, LCD Soundsystem, Death Cab For Cutie, The Postal Service, Justice, Pink Pantheress and Charlotte De Witte.

We can't wait so here is some of our top picks to catch in Mile End over the next couple of weekends.

KAYTRANADA - FRIDAY 16TH AUGUST

1. Tim Reaper

Junglist legend Tim Reaper never misses and he's sure to drop some filthy breaks next week. Recent collab with Kloke goes ridiculously hard.

2. Channel Tres

One of the grooviest artists to break in recent memory its all sexy voice and ass shaking basslines. Featuring on the lead single from Kaytranada's new record maybe we will even see a guest appearance...

Loyle Carner - SATURDAY 17TH AUGUST

1. Bricknasty

Friends of the podcast and one of my favourite groups on the circuit right now. Latest single "Boyfriend" is one of the best jazz bangers of the year and the stuff they're teasing on insta sounds massive.

2. Glass Beams

Mahal EP from this year is currently sitting in my top 10 favourite releases of the year and its easy to see why. Influences spanning across the world culminating in some of the grooviest instrumental music this decade.

Mitski - SUNDAY 18TH AUGUST

1. Wisp

Shoegaze in its prettiest most ethereal form. Wisp has been on fire recently with a great run of singles culminating in the fantastic "Pandora" EP from earlier this year.

2. Beabadoobee

You probably don't need me to tell you but Beabadoobee's music is amazing and the same goes for her live show. She should be on absolutely everyones live bucket list.

LCD Soundsystem - FRIDAY 23RD AUGUST

1. MSPAINT

One of the most exciting hardcore adjacent acts of the recent hardcore boom they mash up crazy electronics and synths with the in your face energy of hardcore.

2. Floating Points

One of the best to ever do it. Recent singles are fire. OId singles are fire. Does Floating Points ever miss? No.

Field Day - SATURDAY 24TH AUGUST

1. Bambii

Genre defying club bangers is the name of the game with some of the most danceable tracks in recent years with tunes like "One Touch" and "Ride With Me". No one does it like Bambii.

2. Vegyn

Most famous for producing Frank Ocean's classic tune "Nights", Vegyn is fresh off one of my favourite albums of the year and has been dropping some of the most beautiful nostalgic synthy tunes I've ever heard.

The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie - SUNDAY 25TH AUGUST

1. Wednesday

Lofi indie shoegazey garage rocky goodness. recently got put onto these guys by my homie and I've been addicted since. Great vibes all round.

2. Spiritual Cramp

No idea how to describe these guys. Punky fun energy with some tongue in cheek lyrics. Think Yard Act meet Militarie Gun.
